The father, John Bryan Crusius, was a co-director at a psychiatric hospital specializing in treating children and teenagers. The place was shut down voluntarily after being threatened by the government in 2018. Seems he started working there around the time his wife filed for divorce.

As a gun owner - I would support an extreme risk red flag program. Properly administrated, this should protect the rights of responsible gun owners to maintain and use their firearms for self defense and recreation.
