I Guess Everyone's Gonna Have To Watch Glenn Beck Tonight ...

When you watch the video accompanying this post, note that Glenn Beck states he was against the Patriot Act. While I am not against the Patriot Act, to my mind this shows that Beck is intellectually honest and even moderate in his views.

He is being portrayed as an Extremist. I think that is unfair. On the other hand, if I am not mistaken, Beck regularly features loons like Ron Paul and Alex Jones on his show (I don't know, cuz I don't really watch TV), and that shows that Beck is a bit loony.

However, Dan (What's the frequency, Kenneth?) Rather was a loon. Richard (I don't believe in Creationism, but if it is true then it's from Space Aliens, not God) Dawkins is a loon.

This is reality. Smart people are often loons. And still, they can be conduits for important truths and information.

And, that is what I think Glenn Beck is, at this point. A conduit for important truths and information.

From Gateway:

Glenn Beck Plugs This Week's Show: "You Will See Something Exposed & People Will Go To Jail" (Video)

That Ought to Grab Your Attention...
You already knew that Glenn Beck's show was going to be entertaining today after theresignation of Barack Obama's communist-Truther Green Czar Van Jones over the long weekend.

But now... Beck just dropped a teaser-bomb that is guaranteed to rock his ratings.
Beck told FOX and Friends this morning:

"He's another guy that doesn't believe in capitalism. Another one who thinks capitalism is bad. He fits right in with this administration. He should be in the White House... This week, by the end of the week, you will see that something that everyone feels in their gut is wrong but nobody's really exposed it. It's going to be exposed this week. And, you will see by the end of this week that people will go to jail."

I saw that and wished immediately that he had not done that.

It sets the expectation level too high.

People think wild things.

Michelle kidnapping Judge Crater?

Rahm drinking pig's blood on a giant crucifix?

Axelrod handing over a stack of 100's to Moulitsas over a recording to kill Rush?

Is Dawkins a loon for not believing in Creationism or for conceding it could be space aliens? Because that last part is pure Maine lake at sunset loon.

What of the stuff that's going on could send a bunch of people to jail if it's busted? One possibility is ACORN. Aren't they about to be charged under the RICO statues? (If they all land in the slammer, who's Obamarama going to get to go knock on doors to conduct his census?) But that's gone beyond "gut feeling", it's already in the news.

RRA,
Dawkins is a loon, in my opinion, because he believes that Space Aliens are more plausible than God as an explanation of the Origins of our Universe.

Neither is logically plausible.

It is idiotic to offer up the Space Alien theory and yet deny the God theory.

You know why?

Because the Space Alien theory begs the child's question, "Well then, who created God?"

If Space Aliens created us, who created the space aliens?

Beck is not a loon, Pasto. Don't believe the attempted ad hominem attacks from the left. Nobody, as far as I know, has ever disproven a single claim Beck has ever made and I know that he has never rescinded a story. Remember, whenever someone attacks the messenger, they have already de facto admitted that they are 100% wrong, have absolutely no case whatsoever, and can only resort to logical fallacies. That's what they try to do with Beck, but they consistently fail at failing, too. Beck's cards are on the table and he's very self-deprecating. Whether or not Beck's a loon, which he's not, is immaterial. When they go after him instead of the message you know that he's right, and they can't even manage to play the ad hominem logical fallacy right.

Also, he's never had Alex Jones on his show. He did have Ron Paul on once to discuss auditing the Fed, which is not just a good idea which both houses back, but it's absolutely necessary. For the record, Alex Jones is a troofer loon, but he's also spot-on about the Fed, which is why Gerald Celente backs him on that.

Jdamn,
I'll have to look up the info you are providing.

I base my idea that Beck is a loon on that bizarre drug-induced video he made after having coming out of the hospital.

Have you seen that?

No, but you've piqued my interest.
