But, don't worry, Muslims really want to dialogue with us, and become integrated Americans. 

Notice how they refer to him as "the messiah of Jerusalem." This is the only time I have ever heard of Muslims referring to Jesus as "the Messiah". The Islamic Messiah is called "the Mahdi", and he is a completely  different character from Jesus. 

I believe the reason they refer to him as "the messiah of Jerusalem" here is because there is, likely, some movement in Islam to claim Jerusalem as a Holy City based on Muslim reverence for Jesus.

The previous Muslim claim on Jerusalem was based on Mohammed's Hejira (Night Flight) to Jerusalem, which was not mentioned, at all, in the Koran.

This new claim is perfect as a marketing tool to the Politically Correct fools who believe in "Co-Existence", yet know nothing about Islam.

Pamela, at Atlas Shrugs, points out that Muslims believe Jesus will return at the end of time, to "break all crosses, kill the pig (would that be Allah?), and abolish the Jizya.

Perhaps.

I would like to point out that Zaid Shakir is a confirmed wahhabi. Do not purchase or read any books written by the wahhabi Zaid Shakir or listen to any lectures by the wahhabi Zaid Shakir.

Come to Connecticut USA and visit Masjid Al-Islam in New Haven and see for yourself the wahhabi legacy left by Zaid Shakir at this place. He single handedly did a lot to promote wahhabism in the USA and especially Connecticut, and thus far he has not yet recanted any of it.

His wahhabi influenced writings are still published in a local deobandi wahhabi monthly publication titled "Iqraa".

Zaid Shakir may be trying to "turn a new page" and come off a sufi or something, but he has yet to do work to reverse the wahhabi ideas that he worked hard to spread.

* But “Isa’-, Muhammad’s perverted Jesus, has nothing in common with the Jesus of the Christians:

There’s more: Jesus will come back, break the cross, kill the swine and abolish the jiziyah.

The swine, that’s us folks, just in case you’re wondering.

The killing of the swine is so that the “Christian belief of its lawfulness is belied.” The reason for abolishing the jizyah tax (the compulsory poll-tax that non-Muslims must pay in order to live in a Muslim land) is based on the idea that when Jesus returns, the jizyah tax will no longer be accepted. The only choice that Christians will have is to accept Islam or die.

Let’s review the various defining characteristics and actions of the Muslim Jesus upon his return to the earth:

1. Jesus is said to return to the earth in the last-days near a mosque in Damascus.

2. He will arrive at a time when the Mahdi and his army will be preparing to pray.

3. He will be offered to lead the prayer by the Mahdi, but will decline in direct deference to the Mahdi who Jesus declares to be the leader of the Muslims.

4. He will then pray behind the Mahdi as a subordinate.

5. He will be a faithful Muslim

6. He will make pilgrimage to Mecca.

7. He will visit Muhammad’s grave, and salute Muhammad, whereby Muhammad will return the salute from the grave.

8. He will destroy Christianity.

9. He will repeal the jizyah tax thus causing the only option for Jews and Christians to convert to Islam or die.

10. He will establish Islamic Shari’ah (Law) throughout the entire earth.

11. He will kill the Antichrist and his followers made up largely of Jews and women.

12. He will remain on the earth for roughly forty years, during which time he will marry, have children and then die.
As we have clearly seen, the Muslim Jesus, in both his nature and actions is far different than the biblical Jesus. Rather than coming to reign as King and Messiah over all the earth from Jerusalem, Jesus instead comes to convert the world to Islam or kill those who refuse to do so. Instead of coming to save and deliver faithful Christians and Jews, he comes instead to kill and slaughter them.

Again we can read in the Hadith that they say Jesus was not God but just man and will judge Christians who believe differently. -Hadith 4:657

“Allah is the Best of Deceivers.” Jesus of Nazareth is an historical personage. Issa of the Qur’an is an ahistorical fiction. The mother of the Islamic Jesus is Mary–Maryam, the Miriam of our Old Testament (Tanakh, if you will), who is the sister of Moses and Aaron! Eighteen Centuries between Moses and Jesus are juxtaposed! That, and a host of other anachronisms and revisions–RIDICULOUS!!
