Whatever Michael Flynn’s weaknesses (working for Turkey, lying to the VP..both unacceptable, btw) his attitude about why those who continue to shout ‘Allahu Akbar’ as they knife, run down, slice, blow up and shoot others was correct.
- There is SOMETHING within Islam that breeds such actions, rightly or wrongly depending on WHO you talk to
- Those who think such actions are right in the pursuit of the ultimate domination of Islam are in the ascent
- The MANY who profess to hate acts of terror are either cowed, GENERALLY powerless or tacitly, financially or morally SUPPORT those who act (#2 above), or help around the margins so as not to be classed with those who act
Trump, throughout his campaign certainly echoed these thoughts, and promised things would conform to that set of views.
Sebastian Gorka joined the admin as one of the foremost advocates of these views. So did KT McFarland (“Global Islamist jihad is at war with all of Western Civilization”).
“They have launched a guerrilla war against us in our own neighborhoods. They shout ‘Allahu Akbar, The Prophet is Avenged.’ We’re still calling it ‘workplace violence,’ ‘senseless killings’ or ‘man-caused disasters.’ Our leaders insist these are criminal acts, not acts of war.”
There was no doubt that others, a la John Brennan (the man who according to Michael Scheurer-head of the CIA’s OBL task Force, was in the room when Brennan convinced Clinton to NOT KILL OBL because of the proximity of ‘allies’ from UAE) were held over at the NSC as matter of physics, but I EXPECTED as matter or course they would be forced to leave.
Thus our policies in the past have in fact been COMPLETELY constrained by the fear of offending ‘allies’, and sought, rather than RECOGNIZE the malignancy of Iran, to co-opt them to ‘behave’ via cash (i.e 2007 in Iraq?).
“Oh, I am heartily tired of hearing about what Lee is going to do. Some of you always seem to think he is suddenly going to turn a double somersault, and land in our rear and on both of our flanks at the same time. Go back to your command, and try to think what we are going to do ourselves, instead of what Lee is going to do.”
Then Flynn, lied to Pence and ergo, he HAD TO GO, and immediately.
McMaster a, 3rd choice, comes in and we immediately were told the things to hold Trump’s base ‘in place’. But 4 days later facts will out. Now I can understand that SHOUTING “Islam is to blame” may not be helpful while your people are training up armies in Morocco, Iraq, Syria, and AFG, but you can still enact those policies which fit the three realities enumerated above.
But now comes THIS.
The import of this article is NOT that McMaster screamed at the Israelis, it is that he screamed insisting that Hezballah is not a terrorist group (while the US govt recognizes they are, as they demonstrated by blowing up the JCC in Buenos Aires in such a fashion that not only THEIR leaders were wanted for murder, but so was the director of their cat’s paw, the cabinet of Iran, including their Prime Minister Rafsanjani, and when prosecution proceeded, SOMEHOW, the Argentinian national prosecutor was murdered).
This event is not isolated.
This follows the removal of McFarland and others who more closely aligned themselves with the 3 guidelines above.
Instead we get DIna Powell.
At an NSC meeting, H.R. McMaster insisted that Islamic terror had nothing to do with Islam. The use of “radical Islamic terrorism” was a mistake. McFarland was in attendance. Before long, McMaster had pushed out McFarland and replaced her with Dina Habib Powell.Habib Powell had all the right friends. Like Valerie Jarrett. Arianna Huffington praised the White House for bringing her in. Her ex-husband heads up Teneo Strategy: the organization created by the same man who made the Clinton Foundation happen and which employed Huma Abedin. You could see her posing next to Huma, Arianna and a Saudi princess. You can see her photographed at the American Task Force of Palestine gala. The ATFP was originally Rashid Khalidi’s American Committee on Jerusalem. Khalidi was the former PLO spokesman at the center of the Obama tape scandal. And Habib Powell was there as a presenter at the Middle East Institute after a speech by the PLO’s Hanan Ashrawi.Unlike McFarland, Habib Powell had no national security background. But though her parents were Christians, she had the “right” views on Islam. In Egypt, she had described how Bush after September 11 had, “visited a mosque, took off his shoes and paid his respects.” “I see the president talk of Islam as a religion of peace, I see him host an iftar every year.” Habib Powell had attended such an iftar dinner.
We get Kris Bauman
Kris Bauman, the National Security Council’s new point man on Israel, believes that the “Israel Lobby” is a threat, that Israel should be pressured into making concessions to Islamic terrorists and that “the Obama Administration must find creative (but legal) ways to include Hamas in a solution.”Yael Lempert, Bauman’s predecessor, had been one of the Obama holdovers that conservatives had fought to pry out of the swamp. Lempert had been described as “Obama’s point person in the White House orchestrating his war against Israel.”
NSC official blames Netanyahu for ‘inciting’ Palestinian terror
Kris Bauman, the newly appointed Israel adviser on the H.R. McMaster-led National Security Council, has a plethora of radical views when it comes to the Arab-Israeli conflict, siding mostly with extremist elements in Palestinian leadership over America’s closest Middle East ally.In early May, Bauman joined the National Security Council. An Air Force colonel, he has rarely openly expressed his opinions on the Israeli-Palestinian divide, or other international affairs matters. Bauman previously served as chief of staff to Obama appointee General John Allen. He replaces Yael Lempert, who supporters of Israel claim has done immense damage to America’s relationship with Israel.Conservative Review has acquired a copy his 2009 237-page Ph.D. dissertation from the University of Denver. In his dissertation, Bauman blames Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu for “inciting Palestinian violence,” claiming the sitting head of state “derailed the peace process almost completely.”For Bauman, the terrorist (Hamas) and terror supporting (Palestinian Authority) leadership of “Palestine” are not to blame for the lack of peace, but instead, the elected leader of a free, democratic society.
And we get Robert Malley, the din around whose appointment to the Obama transition team was so loud he was dropped.
President Trump HAS VIOLATED his promises over the war on Terror, and his promises to reverse institutional views on Israel, which REMAINS our only dependable ally in the ME (unless we support Kurdish autonomy/independence which we are not, today). ISIS is just ONE FACET of this war. It has many including hate speech/blasphemy laws.
I ‘know’ some folks who have trained Muslims in foreign nations and they tend to agree with McMasters. To them I ask, of all the people in those nations:
- Who is in the armies?
- Who in the armies is allowed to be trained by Americans?
- Who among those trained by Americans are allowed to associate with Americans?
- Among those associating with Americans, how have they been trained to conduct themselves..what to say, how to act?
I don’t think this a conspiracy, I think this is a natural inclination.
So here we are, Trump FAILED (for whatever reasons you care to name) on Ocare. In fact yesterday, Bernie introduced single payer, which HAS BECOME via polls, preferable to what we have.
The Wall (i.e. the promise of border security as part of the conflation on the Islamic Jihad) is a cloud of unknown and conflicting stories.
Taxes and Trade remain floating islands of uncertainty, but in my mind are subject to the failures of congress, it’s leadership (GOPe) and Trump’s swinging door on promises. And if we cannot REDUCE the debt and the ~$450Bn+ and growing annual interest on the debt, this entire discussion is pointless since we will be a nation whose govt will be concerned with small army, send a lot of checks to old people, and struggles each year under a growing interest burden. And this will happen in our lifetime.
I promised myself I would decide things on facts, not wishes.
And I… thus cannot support Trump in these endeavors, since I see no difference in his critical policies and results IN FACT in which have entered the real world, and what came before

Something is very wrong in Trumpland.
It's hard for me to believe he was simply lying to us about his opinions.
It's also hard for me to believe that he has so little will that he can not stand up to dissension within his own ranks.
Therefore, I can only conclude that Trump has been removed from Office and has been replaced by a robot Trump.
Pasto,
A pod person?
Pasto,
Have you seen the murmurings that DJT is being drugged so as to make him more compliant? Another of the conspiracy theories out there.
Who would be drugging him? Ivanka?
According to the theory, McMaster. I think.
Or maybe it's the Deep State. I haven't paid much attention.
