All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

Straight From the Imam's Mouth: "Islam Does Not Recognize The Right Of The Citizen to Free Will"
Absolutely true. Islam does not recognize free moral agency. This is also preached at a mosque near my home. You give up the freedom in this life for the "freedom" in Jannah.
Hadd penalties, show the severity of Islam as it is "the rights of Allah over man." (Stoning, chopping off of hands, etc.) These laws came about during the Madani period. During the Makki era, the rules were oriented toward social etiquette, but also the Day of Judgment, which opened the door to Hadd penalties and the stronger brew.
