Moslem Professor at Vanderbilt Tells the Truth

Vanderbilt's Youth for Western Civilization president questions Professor Awadh A. Binhazim at Vanderbilt's "Common Ground" event about Muslims in the military on January 25, 2010. Dr. Binhazim says Islamic law calls for homosexuality to be punished by death.

"Under Islamic law, it is punishable by death if you are a homosexual?" Vanderbilt professor, "Yes."

Moslem academic: "I don't have a choice as a Muslim to accept or reject teachings. I go with what Islam teaches."

When are people going to wake up? Don't forget when push comes to shove, Obama is on the side of the Moslems.

Violent Muslim homophobia - the jihad against gays.

Grant Jones,

I hope that while Obama is in office when push does come to shove, he'll side with his country over Muslims. Can you imagine the outrage there would have been on the left if Obama had instead said that when push comes to shove he would side with the Christians or the Jews? Seriously, what is wrong with America, particularly the American left?

Those who believe absurdities will commit atrocities. Or at least stand around and do nothing when others of the same persuasion commit the atrocities. His only rational choice is to renounce Islam. If he refuses to do that, it's the same as stating that he will violate human rights any time "Allah" tells him to do so.

But hey, for that he gets "peace" and somebody to peel grapes for him in paradise.

Damien,
Obama stated in The Audacity of Hope that he would side with the Muslims:

"In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

Revere Rides Again,

Those who believe in absurdities will not necessarily commit atrocities, but those who do are much more likely too.

Pastorius,

I know about what Obama said about siding with the Muslims, but that doesn't mean that he actually will, especially if he thinks it could cost him a second term, so I hope that he'll go against what he actually wrote in his book. At the moment, unless he does something that could get him impeached, he's going to be our president for about another three years, even if we don't like it.

Oh yeah?

Maybe we should have a gay division to invade specific areas.

Epaminondas,

A picture of a really buff man in camouflaged drag and a helmet with a pink gun would have been funnier!

No person is born homosexual, just like no one is born a thief, a liar or murderer. People acquire these evil habits due to a lack of proper guidance and education.

There are many reasons why it is forbidden in Islam. Homosexuality is dangerous for the health of the individuals and for the society. It is a main cause of one of the most harmful and fatal diseases. It is disgraceful for both men and women. It degrades a person. Islam teaches that men should be men and women should be women. Homosexuality deprives a man of his manhood and a woman of her womanhood. It is the most un-natural way of life. Homosexuality leads to the destruction of family life.

Please note that there is a difference to actually being involved in a homosexual act -which is a sin - from having sexual feelings that you try to control, that you don’t express in public, which is not sinful if you try to control them. If medical or psychological counseling helps, then get it.

What is sinful in homosexuality is the actual sexual act between the couple of a similar sex. if you transform your desires into a struggle and a challenge to overcome it and not physically commit it, you will get the reward for it.

Remember, there is in this world many compulsive gamblers, alcoholics, adulterers, thieves, but many of them control it and refrain from doing it. The same thing with homosexuality.

This issue might actually turn out to be a good publicity in a way. More eyes will be opened, people will get curious, and try to seek the truth independently by themselves without being influenced by others. Have you ever thought that the more you attack, the more it grows? This is something you will never understand until you sincerely seek the truth. May God guide us all

You said: No person is born homosexual

I say: And, you know this how? Because you have a desire to have your fudge packed, is that right?

I have no desire for men. But, apparently, you do. So, I guess we're at an impasse.

You are basing your opinion on your own personal evidence and I am basing my opinion on my own personal evidence.

Anonymous,

I can't say its entirely biological, but most likely based on all we know, homosexuality has a biological component. However, regardless of weather or not people are born homosexual, bisexual or heterosexual, what is the harm of two of guys who don't have a sexually transmitted disease, and are not married choosing to have sex with each other? Even if you are grossed out by Homosexuality, it is not like pedophilia, where anyone who practices it is committing statutory rape. Also even if you are uncomfortable with homosexuality for some reason, do you think that gay or bisexual people should be put to death for giving into their impulses, even if they didn't force the other person to go along?
