Gutfeld: Should We Tolerate Intolerance?

The so-called Salem "witch trials" had nothing to do with "tolerance", and "witchcraft" was not considered a religion at the time. What it did have to do with was superstition, fear, very likely deceit, hysteria, payback, total and near-universal absence of common sense and insufficient survival instinct (Tituba the Caribbean voodoo priestess was about the only one with the sense to "confess" and therefore get pardoned), possibly ergot poisoning, and the level of boredom that must have existed on the North Shore of Massachusetts in February back in the 1600s.

Invoking the "witch trials" in defense of a religion that executes "witches" is grotesque even for a Libtard commentator.

Do not try messing with the "witches" of Salem today. At least one of them I know packs a .38 and she knows how to use it.

British novelist Dorothy Sayers pointed out about “Tolerance”:

In this world it is called Tolerance, but in hell it is called indifference, the sin that believes in nothing, cares for nothing, seeks to know nothing, interferes with nothing, enjoys nothing, hates nothing, finds purpose in nothing, lives for nothing, and remains alive because there is nothing for which it will die.
