The ‘sale’ was brought to the court’s notice during the hearing of a petition by Kulsoom and her paternal uncle Aslam, seeking the quashing of a theft case. Haji Khalil Ahmad, the 62-year-old man, had lodged the theft case against Kulsoom and Aslam. The judge asked Khalil how he was married to a 16-year-old girl. No surprise here..the sunnah and example of Prophet Mohammed(PBUH) is that a 60 yr old man can "marry' a 6 yr old baby..and fathers can sell their children..
