CDC Now Watching 125 People For Ebola Signs

That number is expanding rapidly, isn't it?
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is now monitoring 125 people for symptoms of the deadly Ebola virus, including 76 who came into contact with Thomas Eric Duncan, a Liberian national who died of the disease last week in a Dallas hospital.
CDC Director Tom Frieden told reporters Tuesday that so far, only one nurse who helped care for Duncan has contracted Ebola and no other people have been diagnosed with the disease.
Nina Pham, 26, who Frieden did not identify by name, remains in stable condition, he said, while the CDC continues to monitor her boyfriend and her dog. “It’s possible we will see other people become ill,” Frieden said.
Frieden told the media that the CDC is now stepping up preventative measures to stop the spread of Ebola to healthcare workers, and will send a CDC team of experts on the disease ‘within hours” to any hospital in the United States where an Ebola case is identified.

WE'D HAVE ZERO AND NOT 125 IF OBAMA HAD PUT IN PLACE A QUARANTINE.

OBAMA'S REFUSAL TO BAN TRAVEL IS TREASON.

OBAMA BANNED FLIGHTS TO ISRAEL DURING THE RECENT WAR.

HE COULD'VE DONE THE SAME WITH LIBERIA

A statement from National Nurses United also says Thomas Eric Duncan was left in an open area of an emergency room for hours.
A spokesman for the group says nurses were forced to use medical tape to secure openings in their flimsy garments. It's said that the patient had explosive diarrhea and projectile vomiting.

In a conference call with reporters executive director RoseAnn DeMoro says the allegations are based on revelations from "a few" nurses and that the claims were vetted.

The nurses also said that Duncan's lab samples were allowed to travel through the hospital's pneumatic tubes, opening the possibility of contaminating the specimen delivery system. The nurses also alleged that hazardous waste was allowed to pile up to the ceiling.

We certainly aren't done with it.

I hope I am wrong in what I am about to write, but think about it this way:

Every person who contracts Ebola from the first patient (and now we have two) is evidence of how virulent, how transmittable the virus is.

Every person is exposed to dozens if not hundreds of people.

Every person will possibly transmit the disease to more than one person.

The increase could be exponential.

I dont know enough about epidemiology to do numbers.

I have tried reading on the subject and there are too many variables for me to balance in my head.

I will continue to read and when I understand it, I will post something.
