Muslims World Wants To Ban Free Speech

This whole Jyllands-Posten cartoon controversy is really getting out of hand. Now, the two main political bodies of the Muslim world want to ban all criticism of religion:

The Muslim world’s two main political bodies say they are seeking a UN resolution, backed by possible sanctions, to protect religions after the publication in Scandinavia of cartoons depicting the prophet Muhammad.

Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, secretary-general of Organisation of the Islamic Conference, said in Cairo on Sunday that the international body would “ask the UN general assembly to pass a resolution banning attacks on religious beliefs”.

The deputy secretary-general of the Arab League, Ahmed Ben Helli, confirmed that contacts were under way for such a proposal to be made to the UN.

“Consultations are currently taking place at the highest level between Arab countries and the OIC to ask the UN to adopt a binding resolution banning contempt of religious beliefs and providing for sanctions to be imposed on contravening countries or institutions,” he said.

The world is splitting into two.

Well, since this is so depressing to see, why doesn't everyone click over here, and see the pretty picture Thomas drew of Mohammed.

Can you believe the balls on the OIC?! I mean of all groups of people - every Friday government institutions in numerous Muslim countries do little but insult other religions. I almost hope it passes so we can bring every imam from Morocco to Pakistan up on charges.

What a load!

Incidentally, I recently joined Flickr-- its a place for 'photo sharing', but you can use it mainly as a place to store photos online. You can mark each photo public or private. If you wish, you can post them to various groups there.

Recently, some people have been posting the Mohammed cartoons, and I just noticed someone posted his own "line drawing" of Mohammed. (Btw, he's not nearly as talented as Thomas).

Also, there are some ongoing discussions about some topics of interest to infidels, such as "free speech"-- although most of the people there seem to be incurable Moonbats. (There are discussions in various forums, but most most discusssions are attached as public comments to public photos.)

So, if anyone is interested, (and won't feel too humiliated or otherwise upset by actual graphic representations of the Prophet, pbuh) you can go to:
and sign up(very fast, and free). Then use their search engine to look for Mohammed, etc.

Of course, all of this is terribly blasphemous, but . . .

Yes. And some of the cartoons published in the Saudi Press make the Danish Mohammed cartoons look really tame by comparison!!!

Since when did the Islamic World ever stand for 'free speech' anyway? Free speech is an infidel value if there ever was one. As an example, in Pakistan, the law of the land there says that 'defaming' Mohammed (piss be upon him) is a crime punishable by death. The same is true in the rest of Dar al islam--censure and muzzling of free expression, speech, assembly, conscious and thought.

Islam has been and will continue trying to impose these 'Islamic values' on the rest of the world. Jihad is the name of this overall effort. It can be and is carried out by varied means: violence (terrorism, war), intimidation, propaganda, lawfare and litigation, blackmail, economic boycotts, OIC machinations, mass migration, conversions, and on and on.

I'm buying more danish cookies this week.

I'll be buying Danish bacon all week and will be purchasing Carlsberg lager (Export).

No part of the Muslim communtity must be able to subvert European values.
