Storm Track Intimidation: Muslim Indonesia Shows Its Tolerance

File under the term – Let the camel’s nose into the tent and the camel will surely follow.

I’ve written before about how the rise in intolerance grows with the rise in the percentage of Muslims in a country. Now we see the effect in what was formally one of the most "western and progressive" Muslim countries, Indonesia, where over 100 churches have closed in the last 3 years.

This is a disturbing trend. These Muslim countries need the separation of mosque and state, more than we need the separation of church and state. And there are people out there who see Islam as a religion of peace, but at the same time see Christianity as evil. When was the last time Christians acted like this? When was the last time this type of violence and intolerance was main stream Christian behavior?
