Dhimmitude in Oregon

One of the reasons supporters of Israel have such a hard time making their case abroad is that lots of people in the West don't recognize the threat that radical Islam poses to them and to their way of life. Take Portland, Oregon.

The local newspaper, the Oregonian, is scheduled to distribute free copies of the DVD Obsession in Sunday's editions. Several local businessmen, along with a former mayoral candidate, are afraid that this will lead to imaginary 'Muslim bashing' and 'Islamophobia' and are trying to convince the Oregonian not to distribute the DVD. Let's go to the videotape.

It appears the Oregonian has gone ahead with the distribution of the DVD.

Portland Paper Distributes Controversial 'Muslim Terror' DVD--Even After Mayor Asks It to Refrain

With the economy tanking and newspapers across the nation folding . . .timing this 'paid ad' insert couldn't be better. Could it be, the Clarion fund made the Oregonian an offer the Oregonian simply couldn't afford to refuse?

They talked to some idiot professor on the video and he said, "There's a difference between terrorists and Islamists and the film does not make that clear."

The professor didn't really make anything clear, either, with his boneheaded statement.

That's good news, Anonymous.

This action of distributing the DVD for free sure stirred up a lot of press for the film.
