A Christmas Present For The "Anti-War" Crowd

Yesterday, the death toll in the Iraq war rose above the death toll which America suffered on 9/11. What better statistic could have greeted the "anti-war" crowd on the Xmas holiday?

BAGHDAD, Iraq - At least 36 Iraqis died Tuesday in bombings, officials said, including a coordinated strike that killed 25 in western Baghdad. Separately, the deaths of six U.S. soldiers pushed the American toll beyond the number of victims in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

So, you think I'm being harsh? You think, perhaps, that I am insinuating that the "anti-war" crowd is not sincere? That they are actually happy to have the number of dead American Armed Forces in Iraq rise above the level of Americans dead on 9/11?

Yes, you are right. I am, in fact, being that harsh.

Ask yourself this question: Would the American media have reported the day the death toll in WWII rose above the death toll in Pearl Harbor?

The "anti-war" crowd is a complete sham. They don't hate war. They hate George Bush, Republicans, and American power. Those who are truly Pacifists are illegitimate human beings who, apparently, would have allowed blacks to continue on being enslaved in the American South, would have allowed Jews to be totally wiped off the face of the Earth, would have allowed the Japanese to continue their raping and pillaging of China and the known world during the 1940's.

Pacifism is a sham, the "anti-War" crowd is a sham, and the American mainstream media is anti-American.

I am here to write the truth. The truth is the good that exists in our world comes, mostly, from the hegemony of Western Civilization. Our power which allows us to keep sea lanes open, and trade flowing, and communications networking, allows for the growth of economies around the world, the innovation of new technologies and medical treatments, the extension of lifespans, the farming of fruits, vegetables, and even roses, in the desert.

The West has transformed the world. We have beaten back the squalor that was the Middle Ages, the age of barbarism. The world we live in now is only possible because brave men drew swords and guns, and dropped bombs on the barbarians of the world. And, the truth is, often, during the last 1,300 years, the barbarians that those brave men were fighting were Muslims. And, the reason this is is because the Muslim religion, the Koran itself, tells its adherents that they are to spread Islam by the sword.

Unfortunately, we live in an age when we must must, once again, beat back the Islamic barbarians. But, I am starting to wonder if, in order to do so, we must first beat back the fake Pacifists among us.

I posted something about Roger Waters being a pacifist over on cuanas blog and I bet Waters is cheering over this new death toll.

I went to the Roger Waters concert in Virginia and found it incredibly dull and overtly politicized.

Whenever politicians, or other sorts of artists turn their art into political polemic, their art suffers greatly. Roger Waters, Bruce Cockburn, and Lenny Bruce are three who come to mind right off.

Great post, Pastorius. If you haven't yet read this article by Daniel Pipes for the NY Sun, How the West Could Lose, read it and look how good your timing is.

"But, I am starting to wonder if, in order to do so, we must first beat back the fake Pacifists among us."

I don't think, from the moment I realized the global nature of this conflict, that I ever wondered about that. From that point on, I have always called it Step 0 in any plan of non-Muslim victory over the threat of Islam.

The last sentence from that link left by Zionist Younger:

Should Islamists get smart and avoid mass destruction, sticking instead to the lawful, political, nonviolent route, and should their movement remain vital, it is difficult to see what will stop them.

I think that Islamists may already realize the above. The lone jihadist is another matter.
