URGENT NEWS FOR DEB LIPSTADT: Holocaust a 'big lie': Iran govt spokesman

Iran's government spokesman on Tuesday branded the Holocaust a "big lie" created to place xin_052070505182789038833.jpgthe Islamic republic's arch-foe Israel in the Middle East, the state IRNA news agency reported.

"The Holocaust is a concept coming from a big lie in order to settle a rootless regime in the heart of the Islamic world," Gholam Hossein Elham told a conference on Gaza in central Iran's religious city of Qom.

Ah yes, lovely Qom, home to the well of the mahdi appearance.

Hello world? These guys will have nukes sometime this year.
They are not going to launch a Shahab 3 whose radar track can be followed back to Iran.
It will be their most successful endeavor which will deliver it by truck, or barge, or in parts to be assembled..Hassan "better that all the jews gather in Israel" Nasrallah, and his genocidal hizballoid freakish ghouls, probably based on U-235 whose NMR spectra cannot be readily identified.

But yet even the Times UK, laments, that 'little can be done'.
1937 alert, people.

If attacked by any type of weapon of mass destruction, even if of untraceable origin, Iran (as well as any hostile countries in the region) would likely be subject to massive and disproportionate Israeli retaliation.
Seymour Hersh, a Pulitzer prize-winning investigative reporter who came to fame for bringing world-wide attention to the 1969 Mai Lai Massacre cover up, wrote a book called “The Samson Option” in 1991. In his book, Hersh includes two threatening sounding quotations from Israeli leaders. He writes that a “former Israeli govt official” with “first hand knowledge of his government’s nuclear weapons program” told him: “We can still remember the smell of Auschwitz and Treblinka. Next time we’ll take all of you with us.” He later quotes then Israeli defense minister Ariel Sharon as saying: “We are much more important than (Americans) think. We can take the Middle East with us whenever we go.” The book also discusses Israeli nuclear activities during the Cold War. According to the book, one of the main pillars of the Israeli Cold War nuclear doctrine was that in the event of Israel’s destruction (even if at the hands of its hostile neighbors), Moscow and other Soviet cities would be targeted by Israel’s nuclear force in response. The USSR was targeted mainly for being the primary benefactor, supplier, and advisor of Israel’s enemies. Since Iran is Israel’s arch-nemesis as well as the benefactor, supplier, and advisor of other major enemies, it is logical to believe that the same strategic doctrine would be reapplied to them.

"Israel must be like a mad dog, too dangerous to bother."
-Moshe Dayan

Deborah Lipstadt is the historian who took on David Irving in a libel trial in Britain and won and broke him, or whether or not the holocaust occured based on current evidence. She has a blog here and it's great, even if we don't agree on everything

On Israell nuclear weapons.. the threshold for a worldwide nuclear winter which would end 97%+ of human life, and nearly everything which is green (and all that depends on that) has been estimated to be about 200 explosions. It's a - who knows?

The Israeli arsenal has been estimated at various times to be anywhere from 150 to 600 weapons.

Get the picture?
