NEW YORK (Fox News) — Mohammed Yusef Mullawala wanted a license to transport hazardous materials and to learn how to drive commercial tractor trailers. There was nothing unusual about that, until he told his teacher that he only wanted to learn how to drive forward, and he wanted to learn fast.
That was enough to raise a red flag with Darleen Crawford, president of the Nationwide Tractor Trailer Driving School in Smithfield, R.I., where Mullawala took driving classes.
Federal and state authorities are investigating why Mullawala was seeking a commercial trucking license after his behavior raised flags at the Rhode Island driving school. Crawford said he was also insistent on taking the test necessary to earn a license to transport hazardous materials.
Mullawala, a 28-year-old citizen of India who is of Pakistani descent, is now in federal custody in Massachusetts on immigration violation charges.

I am content to know this is a mistake for sure.
Mohammed Yusef Mullawala is a believer in the religion of peace.
Ah... I didn't hear this before. Didn't know he was looking for a hazmat license. AND did't care to learn how to back up...
Lets see.... 1+1= terrorist!
A few years ago, several Arab Muslim "students" wanted to learn how to fly commercial jets but didn't want to learn how to land them.
Today, another Arab Muslim "student" wanted to learn how to drive a commercial HAZMAT truck but only wanted to learn "how to drive forward, and he wanted to learn fast".
This is a big fat red signal, dammit!
Pastorius, with the great success of the peaceful 9/11 pilots in mind, why should this newest example of a Muslim beacon of humanity change previously well tested and proven tactics? It all worked out perfectly for Mr. Nice Guy Mohammad Atta and his jolly friends. If Mullawala (just the name really calms you down, doesn't it?) only reads, watches and listens to MSM, he had all the reason in the world to think that all infidels STILL were as stupid as the dump of a diplodocus.
Anonymous,
Good point. Well, there's one way in which the MSM actually helps us then.
