If we leave

If we leave Iraq in the next 18 months the result in the next 10 years will be primarily (check all you think correct):
Increased danger in the USA?
Decreased danger in the USA?
No difference to us
More danger to our 'allies', like Saudi Arabia and Jordan
Less danger to our 'allies', like Saudi Arabia and Jordan

One can only hope.

I don't give a flying fuck about Saudi Arabia and Jordan. I'm with the Anonymous commenter above.

On the other hand, increased chaos in the ME will mean more bases for Jihadis.

Thing is, what we need now more than anything is clarity, so bring on the clarity. If that means we need an appeaser like Barack Obama in the White House, then bring it on.

The Republicans lost the ability to articulate what the war is about. That doesn't mean it's not about anything, it just means they can't explain it. The fact that they can't is, itself, inexplicable. But, they lost me at, "We have had Democratic elections in the Palestinian territories." When I read bush and Sharansky bragging about that, I knew these guys didn't fucking get it. That explained why they allowed Sharia to be enshrined in the Iraqi Constitution. It explained to me everything I needed to know.

We are, at this point, set on a course to lose. So, bring it on.

There's no way the Jihadis can beat us, if we realize what we stand to lose, because at that point we will begin to really fight.

So, bring it on.

That's why allies is 'allies'....it's my belief that before it's over we will see KSA fall to salafists (who would give a rat's ass if not for oil), and then see the eastern province erupt into civil war based around its VERY large % of shia, who have been oppressed and murdered for 100's of years there.

So long Abqaiq !

Yep.

All that will only hasten America's innovation of non-oil-based energy. In the long run, this will be good for us. And, that's why I say, bring it on.
