HUFFING PUFFINGTON POST MUSLIM WRITER TWEETS DEATH THREAT AGAINST MUSLIM BRITISH OFFICER

From Harry's Place:
Assed Baig has written for the Huffington PostThe New Statesman and the Islamic Human Rights Commission (more on that organisation, here). He was furious at an article in the Independent that featured Afzal Amin, a former officer in the British Army (now a Conservative PPC). Mr Amin has put his life on the line for our freedoms. In the article, Mr Amin states sensible propositions including:
“The Prophet Mohamed said: ‘Love for one’s nation is part of faith’; ‘Who serves a people is the best of them’, and that ‘the Muslim is the one from whose hands and tongue others are safe’. The motto of Sandhurst is ‘Serve to Lead’. These are all British values and Islamic values,” he says.
and:
“The vast majority of British Muslims are inoculated against that sort of extremism,” says Mr Amin. “But clearly there is a serious issue regarding the education and attitudes of this very small fringe who act in this vile and abhorrent way.”
Calling Mr Amin an ‘Uncle Tom’ or ‘House Muslim’ (presumably of the ‘House Negro‘ type) is deeply inflammatory and, I would argue, words used to incite hatred for a war hero and a model Muslim.
Not even a week has passed after the terrorist attack on Drummer Lee Rigby and this is how a Muslim commentator for ‘progressive’ sites including The Huffington Post and The New Statesman salutes a Muslim Officer in the army.

This is in reality what's known as "misunderstanding" Islam. And that's fine. I hope this guy keeps misunderstanding Islam for as long as possible.

Because when Mohammed referred to nation, he meant the Arab nation. When he referred to "a people" he meant the Muslim people and when he said that others are safe from the hands and tongue of a Muslim, he meant other Muslims and those who do not anger Mohammed and Allah. Infidels are not included in these provisions.

And lastly, no...these are not British values.

But like I said, I hope this guy keeps misunderstanding Islam for as long as possible.

The guy does not only misunderstand Islam but he wants more Muslims to be accepted in the UK military.

I don't know about his sincerity. He apparently advised US generals on conflict termination strategy through civil society engagement and empowerment. He probably is in part responsible for the position the US military is in with punishing soldiers for burning and pissing on the Quran and all that idiocy floating around.

I have a hard time trusting Muslims and after reading the said article in the Independent I think the "good" guy is more dangerous than the tweeting idiot.

He says that right now there are only 840 Muslims in the UK military (he was their leader or something) but things would be so much rosier if there were 8000 Muslims instead.

All this "good" bastard is doing is whitewashing Islam in the face of a jihadi attack against a British soldier. He thinks diversity is the answer.

You know what I think? Have 8000 soldiers and you will have multiple Major Nidal Hassans. I have a sickening feeling that this bastard knows that!

Or maybe this guy is as dumb as he sounds...I just have a hard time trusting Muslims.

Perhaps he is a just another Imam Rauf type, huh?

What is the Arab word used for "nation" in that verse?

If it is Ummah, which actually means people, then we know he is just a fucking liar, not a misunderstander.

According to Al Albani in Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Da'ifah (Series on fabricated Hadiths), the quote about loving one's nation is a fabrication. Mohammed never even said it.

A classical example of Muslims using bullshit to show how awesome Islam is.

I'm trying to find the Arabic text of the book online but so far there's nothing.

That means it is widely considered to be one of the Weak Hadiths, I take it?

It is well known to be a fabricated hadith amongst Islamic scholars and Imams. Whether this guy knows that its fake or not, I don't know.
