Moderate Muslim Watch

Well, we've been looking for the appearence of the rare and coveted Moderate Muslim, and it seems ABC News has found one for us. And he's speaking out on the Afghani Apostate who is being threatened with death:

“Rejecting Islam is insulting God. We will not allow God to be humiliated. This man must die,” said cleric Abdul Raoulf, who is considered a moderate and was jailed three times for opposing the Taliban before the hard-line regime was ousted in 2001.

Well, it's good to know that the Moderates are finally sticking their head out in the sun and looking around. Spring should soon be here.

LOL. The problem is, and that little song springs to mind, It's In The Koran!

How can God possibly be humiliated? The bombheads have made God in Mo's image - vain, vindictive, insecure and given to temper tantrums.

Good point, Mustafa.

Well there you have it, a moderate Moslem showing his true colors.

What's the difference, one must think and ponder over, between the Taliban that this 'moderate' Moslem opposed and himself? Peaceful people of the peaceful religion are peaceful only to their own--infidels are headed to hell anyway, they don't need peace.

This explanation should be more than enough: The god he was talking about is Allah.

Hysterical,...

"We will not allow God to be humiliated"

I'd like to have a diagram of how that can be achieved.

Do we need, like, a giant spacsship?
Or maybe we all moon the vatican, mecca, and then jerusalem or Mt Zion?

I never realized I was so powerful ..maybe I have to change to a better coffe in the morning.

Eteraz,
I think you did say it's in the Hadiths, which most Muslims also accept as sacred scripture.

I've read portions of the Hadiths. I agree with you that it would be a very good thing if they were excised from the Islamic Canon.

I know its more than 3 years old but just want to correct something written by the Muslim dude Eteraz! Death penalty for apostates is in the Koran 4.88-89.

Guess when he researched and read the Koran, he did so with a Muslim cap on!
