Harvard becomes the beacon for Duke

(UPDATES AT BOTTOM)

Well we see Steven Walt has now embarassed himself, Harvard and the Ivy League to a lesser degree than Yale and the gross stupidity of Talibanesque admissions.

Walt's thesis is that the arabs are right and joooooooooooooooooos control american foreign policy in the middle east (I would imagine among other policies) for the exclusive benefit of Israel, and the detriment of the USA and 'real' (?) americans.

Of course the opposite to support of (excluding Iraq and the apparently apostate killing democracy of Afghanistan) the only democracy out there would mean support for the liberty loving regimes of the AL Saud, etc. whose main utilitarian function would be stable supply of oil from the Al Saud family gas station. In other words, foreign policy should be based, prioritized on the secure supply of reasonably priced foreign oil. Isn' t that why we toppled Mossadegh in 1953? That worked out so well.

But nevermind, - for the moral part of the case Walt tries to makes centers on this:

"Viewed objectively, its (Israel's) past and present conduct offers no moral basis for privileging it over the Palestinians"

Exsqueeze me?

Israel has conducted no wars of annihilation against any of it's neighbors, however in Nasser's word's, all the wars against Israel have been just exactly that.

Israel has arab members of the Knesset. How many jews were elected in the last Palestinians election that saw Hamas swept to victory? Yes, that's right, but Hitler was elected.

Is it really necessary to elucidate the difference between those who purposefully make a strategy and tactic out of the murder of innocents and those who target those who purposefully make a strategy and tactic out of the murder of innocents.

Is it really necessary to go thru the littany of teaching of Tamiyya, and Qutb to demonstrate the threats we face are somewhat parallel?

Is it really necessary to refute the basic (truly delusional) assumption of Walt that Israel's existance is not in question - has the director if the Kennedy School of Govt perused this?

The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgement Day. It, or any part of it, should not be squandered: it, or any part of it, should not be given up. Neither a single Arab country nor all Arab countries, neither any king or president, nor all the kings and presidents, neither any organization nor all of them, be they Palestinian or Arab, possess the right to do that. Palestine is an Islamic Waqf land consecrated for Moslem generations until Judgement Day. This being so, who could claim to have the right to represent Moslem generations till Judgement Day?

Excuse me Dr. Walt, but these guys are in power and have reiterated their determination.

On and on, but the capstone of why this is all so wrong is this:

DAVID DUKE CLAIMS TO BE VINDICATED BY A HARVARD DEAN

Paper Issued by Kennedy School Blames War on Israel Lobby

With every step deeper into trying to show how jooooooooooos have warped the otherwise proper course of US foreign policy Walt digs the white sheeted crew a new foundation. Walt is consistent with the techniques I have learned so well from my Gulf Arab friends of using literally exceptional quotes from Israeli leaders to prove a moral equivalence between the Abba Ebans

and the Haj Amin Al Husseni's

The Palestine Liberation Organization mission to Washington is distributing the paper, which also is being hailed by a senior member of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamist organization.

What can one say?
Poor Harvard !

I will not hire a Harvard Grad again - for anything.

It's startling how quickly those who spent the last few decades condemning the neo-Nazis and their anti-semitism have had such a change of heart. Perhaps these "progressive" (haha) liberals will check out some Klan rallies while travelling down their current dark road.
